Robot Gentleman is an indie game development studio based in Poznań, Poland, identifiable by their signature top hats, goggles and positively charming demeanours. When they're not exploring new and unconventional ways to tell stories in games, they're also one of the co-founders of Pyramida Hub, a collective dedicated to promoting Poznań's rich local gamedev community, affording them ample opportunities to make a ruckus at gaming events all over the world.
Founded in 2012 by Dominik Gotojuch (decidedly NOT a robot, so far as we can tell), the team at Robot Gentleman is comprised of industry veterans and passionate storytellers. With past gaming credits including the Fable and Witcher series', as well as experience in film with Lars von Trier’s Melancholia and the European Space Agency’s Ambition, it shouldn't be surprising that they have a thing for the end of the world and life beyond the stars - although maybe with a little less melodrama and overt doom and gloom.
With their first game, 60 Seconds!, Robot Gentleman carved out an impressive niche for themselves, drawing the attention of YouTube's biggest gamers and selling over 1 million units to date. That's quite the feat for a survival game about frantically scavenging for supplies in the 60 seconds before the bombs fall and then making tough life-or-death choices - all while regretting grabbing that deck of cards instead of a health kit.
Fast-forward to today and Robot Gentleman continues to support 60 Seconds! with new content across a wealth of platforms, all while preparing to launch their beloved series into the final frontier with the aptly-named, 60 Parsecs!
